Instructor Requirements
- Registered as an investment advisor rep, CFP, CPA, licensed attorney, or other licensed/credentialed professional
- Minimum of 10 years industry experience
- Evidence of well-rounded industry knowledge
- No previous industry related disciplinary events or judgement where they were found in the wrong, or at fault, including no previous suspensions of investment or insurance licenses due to such events.
Course Instructors

Andrew J. Wacker, CFP®️
Andrew is an FEC volunteer educator in the Omaha metro area and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™️. He received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and his Master’s in Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He has been in the financial industry since 2002.
Prior to personally working with clients, he spent a number of years assisting advisors across the Midwest, helping design and implement retirement income and wealth protection & transfer strategies for their clients. His industry passion is in combining creativity and a diverse financial education to design comprehensive plans for families and business owners .
When not in the office, Andrew spends most of his time staying physically active, taking on new DIY home projects, and spending time with his (smarter and prettier) better half….and their dogs Murphy and Maia.

Nathan E. Magdanz
Nathan is an FEC volunteer educator in the Omaha metro area. He started his career in the financial industry in 2006, after graduating from the University of Nebraska- Omaha, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and specialization in Investment Science and Portfolio Management.
Before settling into his roles as an advisor and investment analyst, Nathan worked as an Active Trade Rep for Charles Schwab. He has experience in equity and options trading as well as experience (and an obsession) with data analysis, equity market modeling, and macro economic analysis.
Nathan and his wife Anna live in Omaha with their 4 children.

Anthony J. Manganaro
Tony is an FEC volunteer educator in the Omaha metro. He has worked in financial services since March of 2002. Since entering the industry he has been providing investment services and financial strategy design to corporate executives, business owners, and professionals.
Tony is passionate about providing his clients a coordinated and integrated long-term approach to wealth creation, preservation, and retirement income planning. His industry mission is to create plans that maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of client assets. Tony holds the Series 7, 31, & 66 Securities Licenses as well as Nebraska Life & Health Insurance License.
Tony and his wife Marcy live in Omaha with their 2 children. He enjoys coaching youth sports in his free time.

Niel Nielsen
Niel Nielsen is an FEC volunteer educator in the Omaha metro area. He received his Juris Doctor degree (JD) from the Creighton University School of Law and, while there, received the American Jurisprudence Award for Contracts & Property. He has over 20 years law experience.
Niel found his passion for estate planning as a first-year law student when he began working for his father, an experienced and established estate planning lawyer. He founded his own law firm in 2002. As a devoted problem-solver, Niel strives to provide both practical solutions and education for his clients, communicating clearly and simply so they have the information they need to make the decisions that are right for them. He regularly provides presentations to church groups, nursing home administrators, residents of assisted living facilities and charity groups.

Michelle Miller-McCoy
Michelle Miller-McCoy is an FEC volunteer educator in the Omaha metro area. She received her Juris Doctor degree (JD) from the Creighton University School of Law and has been practicing law in Omaha for over 20 years.
Michelle’s areas of expertise are in estate planning and business law. She had been named as a Fellow of the Nebraska Bar Foundation and has taught Business Law at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She believes a lot of problems can be avoided through the use of simple tools such as trusts, powers of attorney, prenuptial agreements, limited liability companies and buy/sell agreements
When not working, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.
